Road Warriors – Beach Vacations and Beyond

Designed so savvy travelers like you can read more about authentic experiences in Belize, the Belize Tourism Board has partnered to create the “Road Warriors” program with Matador, an independent media company serving a global community of people who share a love for life and travel, and MatadorU, a new-media school for travel writers.

The program consists of two parts: One covers American students from MatadorU who live in Belize for three-month writing assignments, while the other awards two scholarships to Belizean writers and photographers who gain access to MatadorU’s writing and travel photo courses.

Both Road Warrior groups use multiple forms of media to capture the best of travel in Belize, including beach vacations, Maya explorations, adventure honeymoons, family trips, rainforest excursions, diving trips and eco-travel – all the best things to do in Belize. Their blogs provide a sample of their adventures.
