On the golden-sand beach of Hopkins by the Sea, Ransoms Seaside Garden, Hopkins’s first hotel, (1980) offers a 2 bedroom, two baths. Main Beach house, with full veranda overlooking the seashore, with a seaside shower. The Main-house sits above a full open- to- the sea; Lobby and the Garden Room that sleeps two and opens to both Lobby and The Garden. The Cabana, a wooden two-room Cabana, is self-contained and complete, with kitchen, cable and private parking. An aged tropical Garden in the Old Creole style separates the two structures with Parkway, Breezeway and Courtyard. Ransoms Cabana is still a budget hotel and priced as it was in 1994 $15US/person. The garden Room, for one or two, is $20US and may be rented for one night. A Three day stay is required for the cabana.
