The Cloisters is located immediately north of San Pedro Town, approximately one mile north of the center, across the Boca del Rio Bridge and apart from the noise and disturbances of town. The area has retained the tranquility one would expect on a tropical island while being within close proximity to the shops and restaurants in the village. A restaurant and bar are on-site and other small cafes and a grocery are in the immediate vicinity. All one bedroom suites have beach front decks, spacious living areas and fully equipped kitchens. The bedrooms have queen size beds and are air-conditioned. Cable television and daily maid service are included. Internet service is available at the bar without charge to guests. A swimming pool, sandy beach and 160′ pier are available for the use and enjoyment of guests. Diving, fishing, rentals and inland tours to the Mayan sites and rainforest can be arranged.
