5th Annual National Tourism
Awards
The Belize National Tourism Awards are intended to recognize the outstanding contributions of individuals and establishments to the development of the tourism industry. The Awards are designed to recognize excellence in the tourism industry.
There are three categories for the Awards: The Year Award, The Partnership Award, and the Ministers Award. The Minister himself chooses the "Minister's Award". The "Year Award" and the "Partnership Award" have two categories: Establishment and Individual.
The Establishment Award focuses on the
- Hotel of the Year
- Tour Operator of the Year
- Corporate Support
The Individual Award focuses on
- Tour Guide of the Year
- Educational Service to Tourism Development
- Receptive Service of the Year and Environmental (Individual or Organizational)
- Frontline Person of the Year
Two new awards have been added:
- Small Hotel of the Year and
- Cultural Development Award
You can nominate an organization that you think best represents the tourism industry or you can enter a person you believe is best suited to receive the Award. You can submit as many nominations as you wish in either category.
Note that you can also print any of these forms, complete and FAX or MAIL to the Belize Tourism Board. Additional paper can also be used and faxed or mailed along with form(s).
