Family and friends stand side-by-side, proudly declaring their patriotism at the celebration of Belize’s 214th Anniversary of the Battle of St. George’s Caye Day!  Experience the official Ceremonies, Parades and Block Parties taking place all over Belize, this September 10th, 2012!

Belizeans celebrate the victory of their forefathers, who in 1798 defeated the Spaniards while defending their territory, now known as Belize.  The battle lasted from September 3rd and ended in  triumph for the Baymen on September 10th 1798.  Exuding patriotism, Government Officials and Citizens mesmerizes audiences with spectacular speeches, while musical and  cultural performances encourage onlookers to “let-loose”.
