From birds to big cats, it’s all at Mountain Pine Ridge.
Located in the high country, on the southern region of Western Belize, the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve provides cool temperatures and magnificient natural monuments. Within this 300,000 acres of preserved pine forests you will find sites such as the largest waterfall throughout Belize and the region (Thousand Foot Falls) as well as Rio Frio Cave (a quarter mile-long caving system) to name a few.

Explorations can be done on mountain bike, foot or hoof (horses are available for rent). Trek through the pines to see colorful vegetation, numerous bird species and other wildlife, such as: tapirs, cougars, jaguars and ocelots. There's no region to connect with nature than here in the Mountain Pine Ridge, so enjoy!
