Departing Belize

at the end of your stay here are a few reminders:

• Taking marine products requires a license from the Fisheries Department.
• It is illegal to take firearms or ammunition into or out of Belize. Mandatory jail sentences and heavy fines are imposed for the possession, use, or trafficking of illegal drugs.
• It is illegal to take pre-Columbian article, unprocessed coral or turtle shells.
