Several International airlines have daily flights to Belize and all land at the Philip Goldson International Airport (PGIA) in Ladyville, 10 miles from Belize City.
From this airport there are rental car agencies and connecting flights on local flights to smaller airports throughout the country.

Private airplanes also need to be cleared through the Belize Airport Authority and Civil Aviation Department at the PGIA www.pgiabelize.com
Advance notification of arrival for private flights must be submitted to the Department of Civil Aviation which is commonly done through a flight plan at least two hours in advance of arrival.
- The landing must be carried out at the PGIA (ICAO MZBZ).
- The PGIA operates from 1200-2400 UTC (6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) every day.
