sapodilla cayes
Island and underwater fun, any way you like it.
The Sapodilla Cayes Marine Reserve is located along the southernmost tip of the Belize Barrier Reef, nearly (75 kilometers) 46 miles east of Punta Gorda. This system covers an area of 38,595 acres and is considered one of the top sites to see the true biodiversity of corals throughout Belize.

Here, you’ll find crystal clear waters with a wide variety of fishes, including jacks, spadefish, angelfish, parrotfish and snappers, as well as other underwater life in the unique lettuce reef. Snorkeling or diving here can be marked as the ultimate experience!

If you want to just relax, head to Hunting Caye, known as one of Belize’s most beautiful beaches. Under water or above, these cayes are worth the trip.
