Belize marriages are legal worldwide with just a few formalities.
A Belize marriage license is required from the Registrar General’s office in Belize City or Solicitor General’s office Belmopan. Download a marriage license form here Belize Law.
With a 3 day stay in the country the fee for the marriage license is $100.00 USD
A marriage license within 24 hours is available for a fee $250.00 USD, plus an administrative fee of $5.00 USD.
Proof of citizenship is required by the Belize Government
Valid passport,
Certified copies of applicant’s birth certificate
If either party has been divorced, a certified copy or an original copy of a divorce certificate is required
If either party is a widow or widower, a copy of the certified death decree is required.
