2016 Costa Maya International Festival
In the cool of the night, the vibrant 2016 International Costa Maya Festival unfolds with a multitude of colorful performances on Belize’s premiere island, la isla bonita, Ambergris Caye (August 4th – 6th).
This is definitely a must-experience event featuring the regional Mundo Maya delegates all vying for the coveted 2016-17 title “La Reina de la Costa Maya”. Dance-the-night-away with the musical entertainment by featured performers such as, Alison Hinds (“Queen of Soca”) and the Super Lamas band from Mexico!
This three-day evening festival will be held at the Louis Sylvester Sorting Complex in San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye.
Schedule:
- August 4th: Miss Costa Maya International 2016 pageant (7:00p.m. to 11:00 p.m.).
- August 5th: The “Queen of Soca” Alison Hinds Concert (8:00p.m. to 12:00 a.m.).
- August 6th: Grupo Super Lamas Concert (7:00p.m. to 12:00a.m.).
