Join the excitement as Belize’s top sporting event and festivity, the “Holy Saturday Cross Country Cycling Classic,”.
Be among the thousands of spectators as this rigorous battle of the elite and master cyclists mandates the completion of an arduous 144-miles of uphill and downhill race! This traditional Holy Saturday race from Belize City-San Ignacio-Belize City now enters its 87th year!
Route
- START: At the B.T.L Park (Marine Parade Blvd) 6:00 a.m., riders sprint for the hills of the west, San Ignacio Town, Cayo District!
- Half-Way-Point: Riders head back to Belize City after reaching the Queen Elizabeth Park in San Ignacio Town, Cayo District.
- FINISH LINE: Cyclists will cross the finish line in Belize City at the B.T.L Park (Marine Parade Blvd).
