We saw the world carefully and slowly open back again in 2021. With it came more frequent flights as well as the return and launch of new airlines arriving to Belize! In just a few hours, you could be diving the second largest barrier reef in the world, swimming with the friendliest sharks or exploring the ancient Maya underworld. In addition to American and United Airlines, carriers to Belize now include airlines such as Sun Country, COPA, Southwest, West Jet, Alaska, and Frontier Airlines. This means you can fly with ease from Panama, Canada, and a roster of US cities.
Sun Country Airlines offers travelers from the US Mid-West non-stop service to Belize from Minneapolis – St. Paul, Minnesota on Saturdays. The airline prides itself on connecting travelers “to their favourite people, places and memories” How about starting your weekend sampling exquisite traditional flavours in our tropical destination?
The return of COPA airlines earlier in June, signaled a sense of normalcy returning to international travel this year. With Copa’s main hub based in Panama, South Americans and Europeans can be basking in Belize’s warm weather in a few hours.

Starting December 11th, Frontier Airlines will be Belize’s newest addition. Frontier will initially offer nonstop service from Denver, Colorado and Orlando, Florida on Saturdays. To accommodate the increase in demand for flights to Belize, United Airlines added an additional flight out of Houston to Belize, scheduled to arrive four times during the month of December.
