Malacate Beach Cottage is located in Independence Village just a few yards from the Placencia Lagoon.  It has 2 full bedrooms, kitchen and one bath and has air conditioning and ceiling fans and washer/dryer, WIFI. Two persons maximum, no children. Must climb stairway to second floor.  The Cottage is located in a quite parklike area with plants and trees.  Here our berries, cashew and mangos are grown for our delicious wines which you can taste and purchase,  In the village you will find restaurants, grocery stores and clothing stores, Maya Island Airport, a soccer stadium, and Big Creek Port.  Independence Village is located just along the Southern Highway for easy driving access. You can also ride the water taxi to and from Placencia Village about 15 minutes away with 5 trips daily from Independence Village. There are many beautiful nature sites to see in this southern area of Belize.  Our knowledgeable tour guides will show you the very best of Belize.  Price listed is for two persons maximum in US Dollars per night. No one under 25 years. Minimum stay 5 nights.
