San Pedro Town called Secret Beach. Located on the western lagoon side of the island, the main road turns into the Mata Grande area and passes through the Grand Belize estate to reach one of Ambergris’ unparalleled beaches. The shore is intermittently lined with lava and sand piers, and the water is clear and calm. The western landscape is dotted with islets and other lagoon shores, and in the distance you can see Leonardo DiCaprio’s Blackador his key. The sandy bottom and shallow water are perfect for swimming and water play. Located about 40 minutes from downtown San Pedro, Secret Beach is no longer a secret. This is an established beach area on the other side of the island where restaurants and beach clubs sell waterfront seating and fancy drinks made from pineapples.
