Hawk Caye Lodge

We welcome you to Billy Hawk Caye Lodge. Operated mainly as a fishing island through its early years, the Sabals have worked to build the island up over the past fifteen years to invite tourism. Billy Hawk Caye as we know it is the only Garifuna cultural island in Belize and possibly in the world which is yet still true to their roots. This island paradise is conveniently located fourteen miles southeast of the culture capital Dangriga town, and nine miles east of Hopkins village. Alex and his sister, Jackie along with their extended family spends a good portion of their years on the island, still fishing when not entertaining guests.
