Crystal Cave

Crystal Cave holds the remains of the ancient Maya civilization amid its darkened corridors. Located off the scenic Hummingbird Highway at St. Herman’s Blue Hole National Park, hike through the jungle to enter an otherworldly cave for an experience like no other. Navigating by headlight, limestone formations sculpted by water sparkles like glitter when illuminated. Within its depths lie artifacts such as pottery, small shrines from blood-letting ceremonies, and even a human skull. As you wander deeper into the cave, the enormous cavern of glittering shapes showcases nature’s artistry.
