House of Culture




Once known as the Government House, the House of Culture was renamed after Hurricane Hattie in 1961, when the government was moved to Belmopan. It was next used as a venue for social functions and a guesthouse for VIPs, like Queen Elizabeth. It’s now open to the public. You can check out old archives and see the ornate furniture décor.
