Belize International Yoga Festival 2018

From looming Maya sites and rolling mountains, to silk-sand islets and rainforest canopies, any surface in Belize can serve as your yoga mat. To celebrate the versatility of practicing yoga in the tiny country, Belize is having its third annual Belize International Yoga Festival December 1, 2018, in Belize City. Now, you can connect with your chakras even when you’re away from home.

The festival, which is held the first weekend of every December, is organized by Rhythm of Change. The organization is a non-profit “dedicated to promoting and implementing activities that bring forth individual, social and environmental changes in [Belize.]” The family-oriented event is hosting a myriad of yoga sessions in hopes of bringing together yoga/meditation practitioners, vegan/vegetarians and the general public to enjoy “soulful moments of wellness, healing, relaxation and reflection.”
