The action kicks off with the Elijio Panti Cycling Race through the winding hills, traversing Cristo Rey, Santa Elena, Georgeville, and Blancaneaux’s entrance. Visit the various booths highlighting education, archaeology, and businesses within the Maya community. From traditional foods to locally-made products, paintings, and pottery, there are many authentic treats and art to purchase.

The event offers an immersive experience for visitors with competitions like corn shelling, corn grinding, greasy pig, greasy pole, and palm leaf braiding. There are also cultural presentations like marimba music, Pok Ta’ Pok, the Hog Head dance and other dance groups.
