Cohune Palms River Cabanas

Just two and a half miles from San Ignacio in western Belize, Cohune Palms is located in the village of Bullet Tree Falls at the base of the Maya Mountains.

Set apart from the village on a peninsula of the Mopan River, Cohune Palms is blessed with cool river breezes and a jungle setting. Our restaurant features local and international cuisine, as well as local beer and wine.  We are happy to cater to guests’ dietary and time preferences, serving breakfast as early as needed for timely departures on day trips. Even better — we are conveniently located just 2 1/2 miles outside of San Ignacio with its shops, restaurants, and nightlife.

While resting in one of the hammocks, swimming, jumping off the rope swing, or watching iguanas is always tempting, most are here for a great many adventures waiting to be had in the area. Cohune Palms is an excellent base for the wide variety of tours and explorations in western Belize.
