Itinerary

Seven days of living the life in Belize. Tour ancient Maya temples, float down winding rainforest rivers, and enjoy fantastic tropical delicacies during this 7-day itinerary

DAY ONE

Arrival and transfer to host hotel in the Western District. Arrival at San Ignacio Town – relax and unwind from your day of traveling over an ice-cold Belikin or a refreshing glass of Belizean rum punch.

DAY TWO

Zip lining

Depart for an action-packed day in the jungle exploring Ian Anderson’s Waterfall Cave. Hundreds of feet under the limestone mountain ridge, explore a river cave with a total of six waterfalls you go through, over, off or around before day’s end. See the amazing crystal formations above and ancient Maya ceremonial centers hidden inside chambers during your misty journey. Or spend the day zipping through the rain forest canopy at the Caves Branch Outpost.

The zip line adventure consists of 10 treetop platforms, each strategically located within the rain forest canopy with eight thrilling runs. Double cables capable of withstanding 2,000 pounds of weight each help ensure safety.

After an exciting morning, take a lazy glide through our amazing caves – hike for about 30 minutes through the rain forest then cool down tubing through Caves Branch River and its unbelievable cave systems, which the ancient Mayas regarded as a sacred underworld and home to many powerful gods. Enjoy lunch at the Outpost’s restaurant, browse through a gift shop and pick up a few souvenirs from the works of local artisans.
